The Why: A note from Bria
Stability comes in waves, but there is something to be said about the in-between. Not only does this apply to the workforce, but also our personal lives, goals, dreams, and realities. Aligning your passions and your career can feel like a risky path. For some, this can be done in the corporate space while others find flexible ways to connect their personal dreams to their profession. To share what you hold dear to your heart for others to review, benefit from, and become a part of is a level of vulnerability that deserves thoughtfulness and understanding.
All this to say, I do not take the notion of starting STORIED lightly - I get it. I know how vulnerable it feels to share your background and experiences with others for review. I remember doing mock interviews and feeling ridiculous, but miraculously ready and confident when the day came to interview for my first job. The in-between is just as important as the start or finish line in your goals and career, no matter how many times you start the race.
If I waited to feel like I deserve my own lane, I’d be waiting forever. Instead, forever is starting today and it will again tomorrow. I have put time, careful thought, and hard work behind what I can now share with you.
Thank you for your support and contribution to this dream, it’s about all of you. When you are ready to start, re-start, or change the direction of your forever, I am honored to help you share your Story.
